OGG-01742 Command sent to MGR MGR returned with an empty response.

While trying stop the manager process the following error occurs.

ggsci (ggsource.com) 10> stop MGR
Manager process is required by other GGS processes.
Are you sure you want to stop it (y/n)?y

Sending STOP request to MANAGER ...

WARNING OGG-01742 Command sent to MGR MGR returned with an empty response.

You may have the same issue when stop the extract process.

• edit params mgr

• Change PORT to a available port number which is open for external connection

• Start mgr
